Description

The Swiss Journal of Sociocultural Anthropology – formerly TSANTSA – invites proposals for a Special Issue to be published in 2024. The Special Issue offers guest editors, in collaboration with the editorial board, the opportunity to examine anthropological problem and topics from various perspectives in a series of articles, each contributing to the in-depth discussion of a unifying theme. The Special Issue explores themes of relevance and sheds light on the current state of research social and cultural anthropology.

The Special Issue consists of 4 to 6 articles and an introduction in English, French or German. Proposals containing articles in more than one of the journal’s publication languages are encouraged.

All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer-review and articles are published Open Access free of charge.

Proposals may either take the form of a Call for Papers or consist of a short thematic outline followed by a list of proposed contributions. Diversity of gender, nationality, or academic position amongst the guest editors and/or authors is encouraged.
