Lecturer in Sociology or Adjacent Disciplines (m/f/x)
Permanent employee, Full-time · Berlin

ABOUT THE ROLE
CODE is a new, ambitious university for technology and product design in Berlin with a liberal arts program ("STS") and a focus on project-oriented and curiosity-based education.

We are looking for a full-time lecturer in sociology or adjacent disciplines with an affinity for digital technologies. Profiles in ethnology, anthropology, economics, political sciences, policy, or media studies would be welcome, too: We are happy to consider applications that do not tick all boxes as well as non-standard CVs. Candidates should have broad intellectual interests and a commitment to ideas and the arts. CODE is looking for creative and responsive individuals, who are happy to work together and identify with an institution where the land is still being laid. Candidates should be comfortable teaching in English. Salary will be relative to the career stage.

If interested, please send your CV, a cover letter, and two writing samples (one scholarly, one popular).
