Studying European Culture and Society in Challenging Times - A Meeting of CIVIS Partners
22nd - 23rd April, 2021 via Zoom
The European University Alliance CIVIS was founded in 2018 and was among the first to be funded by the European Commission. It seeks to promote collaborations in teaching, research, and community outreach between the partners. The Ludwig-Uhland-Institut für Empirische Kulturwissenschaft in Tübingen is therefore hosting a meeting between members of the field of cultural anthropology in and of Europe, which goes by many names. The meeting serves to deepen the relationships between the departments in our CIVIS Alliance, but also to present to the universities and community the potential for our field to contribute to current debates and challenges in the areas of (material) culture, diversity, migration and heritage in the spirit of the CIVIS alliance.
