Archiving ethnographic research materials at Qualiservice: New working paper published (english)

The working paper “Preparing and documenting ethnographic research materials for archiving and reuse – an overview for researchers” provides information on the possibilities for making ethnographic research materials available for further use at the Qualiservice Research Center and explains the preparatory work required for this. It is aimed in particular at social and cultural anthropologists, ethnologists, and empirical cultural scientists, but also at researchers from other disciplines who work ethnographically.

The working paper was produced as part of the Social and Cultural Anthropology Subject Information Service (DFG funding), which Qualiservice has been responsible for since 2019 in collaboration with the University Library of Humboldt University in Berlin. In this cooperation, Qualiservice and the Information Service are working on the development of appropriate procedures for the archiving and reuse of ethnographic material.
