CHD is an interdisciplinary department at the critical edge of thought and research in the social sciences whose faculty includes anthropologists, biologists, linguists, psychologists, sociologists, and methodologists. Faculty and students in CHD conduct interdisciplinary, holistic and comparative research and scholarship, and are committed to examining humans as simultaneously sociocultural, biological, and psychological beings who change over developmental and historical time. Candidate must have PhD in hand at start of the position.

Applicants are required to upload 1) a brief cover letter, 2) a current curriculum vitae, 3) a research statement addressing current and future research plans, 4) a teaching statement addressing teaching experience and philosophy, 5) one sample of scholarly writing (a published article or unpublished paper or chapter), and 6) the names and contact information of three referees. We may request letters of recommendation at a later date. The position will begin on or after July 1, 2020.
