Responsibilities
- Conceptualization and realization of an independent research project to achieve a PhD in social anthropology
- Teaching: one course per semester at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology
- Assistance with organisational and administrative tasks
Requirements
- M.A. in social or cultural anthropology
- Strong theoretical and empirical interest in the field of medical anthropology and/or anthropology of science and/or political anthropology and/or or economic anthropology
- Regional specialization on South Asia is desired
- Ethnographic fieldwork experience
- Proficiency in English; fluency in German is an asset but not a condition
- Independence and ability to work in teams
