The industry program DocumentaryTank@AFF, as part of ASTRA FILM FESTIVAL 2019 will take place 17-19 October, bringing together local and European documentary film professionals for opportunities for project development, a variety of talks, presentations and roundtables on current conditions of production and distribution of documentary formats. DocumentaryTank@AFF allows for the productive encounters between filmmakers, both established and emerging, film students, producers, distributors and buyers, festival representatives, or other industry experts from Europe and beyond.
We are happy to announce a new initiative in the industry program at Astra Film Festival, AstraFilmLab, a three-day project-based intensive workshop, consisting of mentoring, roundtable discussions, one-to-one meetings and a public pitch in front of an audience of industry representatives. The goal of this program is to offer an auspicious platform to filmmakers currently developing internationally relevant stories that originate in this part of Europe to present their work and develop professional networks.
We are looking for feature-length creative documentary projects, with international potential and relevance. Priority of selection will be given to projects from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia.
