Boolean Operators

The use of the Boolean Operators depends on the database!

 

AND-conjunction (default)

Two or more search terms in a search field are automatically connected with AND, i.e. each search term is found on the website.

Alternative you can enter AND/UND or +.

OR-conjunction

If you connect your search terms with OR or ODER at least on of the search term is found on the website

Excluding search terms

A minus sign or hyphen entered before a search term excludes this from the search.

Searching with wild-card

As wild-card for single characters or part of words you can use *.

Searching for phrases

By using quotation marks you can search for a phrase.
